Step 2
Pick the Biggest Square Frame That Fits
AC Shade sizes are based on the square frame.
The fabric canopy extends beyond the frame to create shade, but the frame is the part that sits on top of your condenser.
Use your smaller top measurement and choose the largest AC Shade size that does not exceed that number.
Quick examples
If your top measures 34" x 37"
→ the biggest square frame that fits is 34"
→ choose AC34
If your top measures 30.5" x 32"
→ the biggest even square frame that fits is 30"
→ choose AC30
If your top measures 27" x 37"
→ the biggest even square frame that fits is 26"
→ choose AC26
Do not round up.
When in doubt, choose the smaller size or contact us with photos.
Available sizes
AC20, AC22, AC24, AC26, AC28, AC30, AC32, AC34, AC36
Step 3
Check the Fan Grille
For most flat fan grilles, you can skip this step.
If your fan grille is raised or domed, make sure it fits inside the AC Shade opening.
The inside opening is always 2" smaller than the model size.
Examples:
AC26 frame → 24" opening
AC30 frame → 28" opening
AC34 frame → 32" opening
If your raised/domed fan grille is larger than the opening, or very close to it, send us a top-down photo before ordering.
